Founded in July 1996, Actinic specializes in helping small and medium retailers trade online using its ecommerce software solutions. Actinic, recognized as the UK ecommerce software market leader, is used on over 10,000 live sites. Research shows that over 50% of the UK’s SMB's using packaged software to run their stores use Actinic (source: pfa Research). Actinic is based in West Byfleet (Surrey) England and has over 55 staff in six countries and partners with distribution partners in the United States, France and South Africa.

Actinic America - Edwardson.com, Inc. is the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America distribution partner for Actinic Software and the operator of Actinic.com web site. Based in central New Jersey Founded in 1997 by Todd Edwardson, Edwardson.com is a full service web development company with a solid reputation for providing web site development and design, e-commerce, domain registration, database management and site hosting services.

Todd Edwardson - President & CEO

Todd earned his MBA and undergraduate degrees in Computer Information Services at Rider University. He has 26 years experience in computer, communication and information systems development and management. Prior to starting Edwardson.com, Todd was Manager, Computer Systems and Construction with Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal.

Alicia Edwardson - Sales & Marketing Manager

Alicia Edwardson earned her MBA and undergraduate degrees in Finance & Global Business at Rider University. Alicia brings 25 years of experience with a global business focus to support Actinic customers with business goals. Prior to joining Edwardson.com, Alicia managed contracting for the national strategic account teams at Ortho-BioTech, Janssen Pharmaceutical, and Ortho-McNeil.

Matthew Young - Senior Art Director

Matthew brings more than 30 years of graphic and web design experience to the design of Actinic client websites. Prior to joining Edwardson.com, his clients included Church & Dwight, Merrill Lynch, Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and the SHARP (Society for the History of Authorship, Reading, and Publishing).

John Standen - Non-executive Group Chairman
John joined the board in 2004. He is the chair or a director of a number of public and private companies and specialises in helping them to develop and achieve their strategies. The majority of his career was spent in investment banking, including as CEO of Barclays Corporate Finance. He is also Chairman of the Council of the University of Hull.

Chris Barling - Chief Executive Officer
Chris co-founded Actinic Software in 1996. He has over 30 years experience in the IT industry. Prior to founding Actinic, Chris held senior positions in Reuters and Cable and Wireless and spent time on the board of GLS (the UK's largest educational supplier).

Nick Kington - Commercial Director
Nick has worked for Actinic for more than 5 years. Prior to joining Actinic, Nick has held senior positions with Sage, Cable & Wireless and Dell. Nick is the director of the commercial side of the business and is responsible for sales, marketing and support.

Ben Dyer - Director of Product Development
Ben joined Actinic in 2008 and previously worked for Xyratex, BSkyB and BAE Systems. At BAE Systems he won Apprentice of the Year and at BSkyB, he was part of the team responsible for relaunching SkySports.com and its supporting infrastructure. Ben's role is to push forward the strategic development of Actinic's product portfolio.
